Milo Santamaria (she / they) is the author of This Is Why I Never Left, a poetry collection dedicated to ending cycles of abuse. Milo is a 26 year old queer Latinx poet from Southern California. Milo’s studies include a bachelor’s degree in sociology from UC Santa Cruz and a master’s degree in library and information science from San Jose State. Their poems have been included in zines and publications such as Wizards in Space literary magazine, Queering Friendships Zine and the ILL Poetry Anthology. They have also written articles and blog posts for Library Futures and Youth Facts!
